Paved surfaces, sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots have negative impacts: increased runoff and concentration of pollutants in that runoff, alongside, sometimes substantial, urban heat island effects, and a general decrease in green spaces. If you, however, find that a piece of paved surface is not pertinent to everyday life, the best solution is depaving.

The removal of pavement allows for the revegetation of land with trees and plants and/or introduces permeable alternatives for hardscaping.

BENEFITS: Filter pollutants from runoff, ï‚· Slow runoff,   Reduce erosion,   Recharge groundwater, ï‚· Conserve water, ï‚· Remove standing water on your property, ï‚· Reduce potential of flooding, ï‚· Create habitat for birds & butterflies, ï‚· Survive drought seasons,  Enhance property value.
